Standard booking, which can be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. After this date, a deposit of 30% of the booking value is required. In case of cancellation after the free cancellation period or no-show on the day of arrival, the property will charge the guest and the deposit paid is non-refundable. In the case of no-show, the reservation will be cancelled after the first night.
For guests sure of their plans, we offer a non-refundable booking option. In this case, the stay cost is lower than the standard price, but full payment "in advance" is required. This way, both parties benefit - you save, and we have certainty that you will arrive! :) Unfortunately, the deposit paid is non-refundable. Choosing this option means no possibility to resign from the stay or modify it. In case of cancellation or no-show, the property will charge the guest for the entire stay. In the case of no-show, the reservation will be cancelled after the first night.
To ensure a pleasant stay and to avoid any misunderstandings, please read the regulations below. Confirmation of booking acceptance is equivalent to reading, accepting, and agreeing to the regulations.
- Apartment booking can be made by phone or email, after prior confirmation of apartment availability for the selected period.
- The booking is considered guaranteed upon receipt of a deposit on the ZAKObooking account.
- The deposit is non-refundable in case of reservation cancellation.
- For standard offers, if cancelled 30 days before the planned arrival date, the deposit can be used for another reservation, but no later than 6 months from the cancelled arrival date.
- After the deadline mentioned in point 4, the deposit is considered forfeited.
- The hotel day in the apartment lasts from 16:00 to 11:00, unless otherwise agreed with the person responsible for the keys.
- Check-in after 22:00 and check-out before 08:00 should be reported and arranged in advance with the Resident and may incur an additional fee of 100 PLN.
- Extension of stay beyond the period specified on the day of arrival must be reported to the Resident by 09:00 on the day the rental period ends.
- Requests for extension are considered subject to availability of free apartments.
- The guest must pay for the stay in cash on the day of arrival during check-in. ID card is required for check-in. If the ID card raises doubts, the Resident has the right to request a secondary ID document (passport, driving license) without stating a reason.
- Failure to pay in advance or if the number of guests exceeds the number indicated during booking, entitles the Resident to refuse check-in and key issuance.
- The Resident is obliged to deduct the previously paid deposit from the accepted amount. Please keep and present a copy of the payment to clarify possible misunderstandings.
- When handing over the keys, the Resident provides instructions on the use of selected electric devices in the apartment. This moment also serves as an inspection of the technical and quantitative state of the apartment and its equipment.
- Failure to report any defects or complaints about the technical condition upon entry means the apartment was handed over in a condition without objections.
- Apartment staff may not enter the rented apartment without guest permission, nor move or use their personal belongings. Entry is allowed only in case of safety concerns or if guests violate apartment regulations.
- Bringing pets is allowed only after prior permission from the apartment owner. The apartment staff may refuse accommodation to guests who bring pets without prior agreement.
- Pets are accepted for an additional fee of 100 PLN. The guest must ensure they do not disturb other guests and not leave them alone in the property.
- ZAKObooking is not responsible for items left in the property after guests' departure.
- Items left by guests after departure will not be sent back but prepared for pickup at the Zakopane office. Pickup is possible for 1 month. After this period, unclaimed items will be disposed of.
- Due to fire protection regulations, the use of any electrical or gas-powered devices not supplied as part of the apartment equipment, which may present a fire hazard (e.g. electric heaters, radiators, gas burners) is prohibited. It is forbidden to bring flammable materials, explosives, or items with unpleasant odors into the apartment.
- The client is obliged to properly secure the apartment, lock doors and windows each time the apartment is left, and carefully store keys away from unauthorized persons.
- Smoking tobacco is strictly prohibited in the apartment.
- The guest agrees to immediately notify ZAKObooking of any damage caused to the apartment or its equipment and to cover the costs no later than the last day of the stay. The client is liable for all damages caused. Claims for damages noted upon apartment inspection will be pursued legally.
- On the departure day, guests must leave the room by 11:00. A stay extension until 16:00 is possible subject to availability and an additional charge of 50% of the accommodation price. After 16:00, the full daily rate applies.
- The rented apartment must be left in the same condition as on the arrival day according to the handover protocol.
- Early guest departure for reasons beyond the apartment owner’s control does not entitle a refund for unused accommodation.
- Invoices for the stay are issued on client's request within up to 7 days from check-out. They will be handed over on the check-out day or sent by registered mail to the address provided.
