Let's meet on December 6th by the Water Pond on Krupówki! It is there, in a festive atmosphere, that Santa Claus along with Radio Alex will invite everyone to the most important moment of the evening – the joint lighting of the city Christmas tree, which will officially start the magical time of Christmas. And before that? Fun, sweets, and concerts await, which will get us into a special mood.
This Saturday, on Saint Nicholas Day, the heart of Zakopane will start beating to the rhythm of the pre-Christmas atmosphere! The long-awaited guest will appear on Krupówki by the Water Pond, and we will welcome him with a performance by the Małe Klimki band, operating at the Podhale Association Zakopane Branch. Right after the musical welcome, Santa will sit in traditional highlander kumoterki, where he will wait for children – for conversations, commemorative photos, and the handing out of sweet gifts to each of our little ones.
But that's not the end of the attractions! Children will be able to take part in a special action "Wishes on the air" and make..... this time kind wishes to Santa Claus himself, which Radio Alex editors will record and later broadcast on the air.
Among the participants of the fun, special prizes will also be drawn. Radio Alex has prepared an award for the most creative wishes, while the Zakopane Cultural Center has funded a Zakopane Bear mascot – the same one that won in the Stacja Kultura Zakopane contest, a stay at the Zakopane Thermal Baths with a discount for a guardian, and a ticket for carousel rides during the Zakopane Christmas Market.
Everyone who takes a photo with Santa will receive a number – one copy is put into a box, the other is kept. The winning numbers – prize winners – will be announced on the Facebook profile of the City of Zakopane.
